Certain plants lend themselves to drawing and design better than do
others. Pumpkins and melons of the (Cucurbita) family, with their
scalloped leaves, globular fruit and stellar-like flowers make wonderful
subjects. This botanic illustration in ink pen attempts to combine as
many of the plants attributes as is possible. |
