Nomadic Steppe Culture.
Of all the cultures that used the images of animals for decoration, it
is my opinion that the Nomadic Steppe Tribes came closest to capturing
the life-force of their animal subjects. Take note of the beautifully
decorative antlers, and the interesting pose of the deer. The trend to
exaggerate the size of antlers or horns, first appeared in the Middle
Eastern Neolithic. |
