This design was an exercise in vertical symmetry. You can divide the
design in two, down the centre, and discover that what is applied to the
left is to be found on the right. Take notice of the five-fold axes of
the inner petals that form a pentagon and the outer petals that form a
stellar pentagram. Features such as these can be exploited in design if
you want a more stylised look. |
